Best Coffee in Disneyland – Top Drinks and Locations!

Find the Best Coffee in Disneyland!

There’s nothing better than starting your day off on the right foot, and in order to do that, you sometimes need a great cup of coffee.  So here are our picks for the best coffee in Disneyland!

Finding the Best Coffee in Disneyland

Let’s begin by discussing the Cold Brew Black Cafe, which you can find at Docking Bay 7.

1) Cold Brew Black Cafe at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

Price – $6.29

Location – Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Description – Cold Brew coffee with cream cheese and Coco Puffs to top it off!

Why I Love It – If you love coffee, and you love Star Wars, then what’s not to like with this cup of Disneyland coffee in Star Wars land?  If the first ride on your list is Rise of Resistance or the Millennium Falcon, make a quick pit stop at Docking Bay 7 to get this energy-boosting treat. At first, the cream cheese topping kind of made me weary, but don’t be scared away because the topping actually fit perfectly with the Cold Brew. The Coco Puffs add a needed sweet addition as well!

2) Iced Caffè Mocha at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

Price – $5.79

Location – New Orleans Square

Description – Best Iced Caffè Mocha available in regular or decaffeinated!

Why I Love It – Sometimes in the parks you’ll want something that at least slightly resembles your typical coffee of choice at home. Thankfully, the Iced Caffè Mocha is the best version of an iced mocha that you could ever dream of.

Made the same way every time, you know exactly what to expect from this drink – so no surprises! Also, if you’re not feeling an iced Caffè Mocha, there are a handful of other typical coffee drinks available at this same location. This just might be the best iced coffee at Disneyland.

3) Cardamom Cold Brew at Troubadour Tavern

Price – $5.29

Location – Fantasyland

Description – Cold Brew coffee with cardamom and brown sugar!

Why I Love It – The cardamom is strong with this one! I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t convinced by this drink after the first sip, but on sip number two and three, you start getting the hints of brown sugar that really tied the Cold Brew and cardamom together. If you’re spending your day in Fantasyland stop by the Troubadour Tavern for this harmonious drink!

4) Tavern Cold Brew at Red Rose Tavern

Price – $6.29

Location – Fantasyland

Description – Caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon-flavored Cold Brew!

Why I Love It – This Cold Brew coffee is my FAVORITE drink in the Parks. You get a mix of flavors with caramel and cinnamon which is absolutely yummy! My only complaint is where the Tavern is located. Unless you frequent Fantasyland, the tavern is a little out of the way from the other locations.

To get to the Tavern you have a few options, you can either go behind the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or through Cinderella’s Castle. While you’re there, you might as well reward your efforts and grab a helping of the Grey Stuff to go get your morning off right! I promise… it’s delicious!

5) Black Coffee at Hungry Bear Restaurant

Price – $3.79

Location – Critter Country

Description – Tradition black coffee, offered in regular or decaffeinated!

Why I Love It – If you’re not looking for anything too fancy, grab a black coffee from Hungry Bear Restaurant and grab a seat along the tables facing Splash Mountain. In the morning this location is fairly chill, and I’ve never had trouble getting a seat. If the coffee warms you up enough maybe take a chance on Splash Mountain! Any black coffee enthusiast should definitely make this stop a priority!

6) Matcha Green Tea Crème Frappuccino Blended Beverage at Market House

Price – $6.29

Location – Main Street

Description – Green Matcha tea flavored Frappuccino with crème!

Why I Love It – If you love everything Matcha, you are going to love this Frappuccino. The Green Matcha really comes through strong, and the added crème seems to bridge any gap between the Matcha and the coffee. The flavors are strong with this drink, so only get it if you are a fan of Green Matcha Tea.

One of the coolest things about the Market House is the plethora of different coffee options available to you (Psst, you will see a few more on the list below)! One note – only get this drink if you need to cool down! I made the mistake of grabbing one of these in the dead of Winter and well… I’ve never felt so much like Olaf!

7) Horchata Cold Brew at Rancho Del Zocalo Restaurante

Price – $6.29

Location – Frontierland

Description – Horchata mixed with Cold Brew on ice!

Why I Love It – Of the people I’ve talked to about this drink, 90% love it and only about 10% hate it! There doesn’t seem to be an in-between, but chances are you’re going to enjoy this one. I know it’s not typical a big place like Disneyland would actually do Horchata justice, but no joke… the flavoring is legit!

The drink really does taste like a fusion of Horchata and Cold Brew. If you’re not into Cold Brew, fear not, they have regular and decaffeinated coffee options as well in the flavor so give a few different ones a try! Maybe not all at once though… The worse part about this place is they aren’t open for that first morning cup of coffee. You’ll have to wait till they open around 11:00 AM to enjoy.

NOTE: Horchata is, it is a traditional Mexican drink made with water, rice, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla.

8) White Chocolate Mocha at Market House

Price – $5.49

Location – Main Street

Description – Just your better-than-average White Chocolate Mocha!

Why I Love It – There is nothing quite like snagging a White Chocolate Mocha on your way down Main Street during a chilly day to start your Disney Vacation! If I head to the Parks any time between December and February I will always start my trip by preordering this delicious wake-me-up as I’m entering the Parks. With that warm cup in your hands, and the excitement of the magic awaiting you, you really create a lovely atmosphere.

My biggest complaint about most White Chocolate Mochas is the flavor just sort of tastes like vanilla, but there is no missing the white chocolate flavor in this drink! You are hit with the awesome aroma as soon as the cup hits your hands, and you won’t be disappointed after that first sip.

Alternatives to Coffee in Disneyland

Have some hot chocolate at Disneyland.

If you don’t like coffee, what about a cup of hot chocolate?

Hot Cocoa at Mint Julep Bar

Price – $3.79

Location – New Orleans Square

Description – The best Hot Cocoa around the Parks!

Why I Love It – I know you’re probably wondering why I added a hot chocolate to a list of the best coffee in Disneyland, but if you’ve got young ones tagging along on your Disney Vacation you will understand. If you’re getting a coffee, they’re going to want something “grown up” too.

Now and then, if I get a coffee, I will stop by the Mint Julep Bar and snag hot cocoa for the young ones as well. Not only will you get a moment of peace as they enjoy the warm treat, but I’ve found this is a nice location to take a breather at the many tables options or sitting areas.

There is a little something for your whole group in this location as well: bathrooms if needed, Mickey Mouse-shaped beignets for those looking for a snack, and the Haunted Mansion if you’re ready to GO. For a truly magical night, stop by the Mint Julep Bar and grab a regular or decaffeinated coffee for the adults, a hot chocolate for the kids, and check out Fantasmic as you keep warm with your treat!

Tips for Ordering Your Coffee

The first thing I would recommend is that you embrace the digital age, download the Disneyland App on your smartphone, and go ahead and make your order. Ordering ahead will be your saving grace no matter what time you’re looking to grab your cup of coffee or Cold Brew. Not only do you get to skip the line that will oftentimes be wrapped around any store, but you’ll also save yourself from the headache of having to navigate the busy crowds of people looking for what they want to order.

All the Options in One Place – When ordering your coffee through the Disneyland App, you get a whole layout of your options! If debating between drinks I will even look up the drinks online to see what they look like. There are countless photos out there to help you in your decision and one has not led me astray.

How To Order Ahead

  1. Go into your Disneyland App
  2. In the white bar at the bottom of your screen select the circle with the plus sign
  3. Select “Order Food”
  4. Select the store you wish to order your drink from
  5. Select “Order Food” and your pick up window
  6. Check out your Coffee Options.

If you’re in a rush and don’t want to follow so many steps, just head to the map within the Disneyland App, change your selection from the default “attractions” to “dining” and search on the map where you want to order your drink. I find this way is the best as some of the stores don’t appear in the “Order Food” section in the option above.

“Mobile Order” Pick-Up Windows – This is my favorite thing about ordering my coffee ahead of time. When your almost to the store or cart, select “I’m Here,” skip the line, and head to the “Mobile Order” pick-up window! This will save you so much time throughout your day and not going to lie… it feels nice seeing a line you don’t have to wait in.

Time for a Cup of Brew?

I hope you’ve found a few coffee drinks to try in this list of the best coffee in Disneyland! There are so many great locations to grab a -sometimes much-needed- sip of caffeine to keep your energy up, so definitely check out your other options. At most places where food is sold, they will have a coffee option for you, but if you’re looking for something a little fancier definitely keep our list in mind!
