Best Breakfast at Magic Kingdom

When you head to Disney’s Magic Kingdom with your family, one of the more exciting things to do is find an excellent restaurant to have a great meal.  So in this article, we’re going to break down the best Magic Kingdom breakfast options available, both at quick service and sit down table service restaurants, that we believe your family will absolutely love.

Magic Kingdom Breakfast – Quick Service

Let’s begin with the great Main Street Bakery.

Main Street Bakery

Let’s start at the very beginning of the park. Right when you walk into Disney’s Magic Kingdom, you are instantly transported back in time on Main Street USA. This is where you will find the awesome Main Street Bakery, which includes all your favorite Starbucks treats and beverages along with some Disney baked goods.

There is nothing better than starting your magical day with your favorite Starbucks cold or hot drink. It is just what you need to wake you up and give you that boost of energy to tackle a jam-packed day.

You can also choose from a variety of Starbucks classic breakfast sandwiches, pastries, protein packs and Disney specialty baked goods.

Important note: since this is the only Starbucks in the park and it is located at the front, the line is often pretty long. Fortunately, like everything else at Disney World, it runs efficiently.

Wendell’s Bear Claw

For those who enjoy a sweet breakfast this traditional Bear Claw is inspired by one of Disney’s Country Bears and is dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with hazelnuts.

Sleepy Hollow

  • Dining Style: Quick Service Stand

If you are a fan of a sweet breakfast, then Sleepy Hollow is a must stop. Here you can fill that morning hollow in your belly with a variety of waffles and funnel cakes.

Personally, I prefer a heartier breakfast. However, I do love a warm funnel cake especially at a theme park where I feel like it’s ok to splurge. Luckily, many of Sleepy Hollow’s waffle and funnel cake options are available all day.

This quick service option doesn’t just do sweet waffles. While technically part of their “snack” menu, Sleepy Hollow offers a Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich. Served with broccoli slaw with a honey-sriracha glaze, this item is a great choice for those who are looking for something heartier to fill them up.

Breakfast at Magic Kingdom – Table Service

For guests who just want to enjoy a more traditional breakfast around the table with their family, there are options for you. Unfortunately, like many places around the country, there have been changes at Walt Disney World post-covid. One in particular being the table service dining at Magic Kingdom.

Before covid, the majority of Magic Kingdom table service restaurants included a breakfast service. However, the only table service restaurant still serving breakfast currently is Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

  • Dining Style: Signature Dining (reservations required)
  • Location: Fantasyland
  • Pricing: $35 to $60

Let’s be honest. Who hasn’t dreamed of dining inside Cinderella’s castle? This storybook dining experience includes soaring stone archways, medieval flags, and beautiful stained-glass windows and is the perfect place to kick off the ‘best day ever’.

Here you can enjoy a majestic breakfast fit for royalty. Options include flaky pastries, traditional American breakfast plates including fluffy eggs and potatoes, smoked gouda shrimp and grits, and my personal favorite bubbly cocktails. They even have several allergy-friendly options available to meet the needs of all its guests.

Like all sit down restaurants at Disney World, Cinderella’s Royal Table includes a separate menu for you little eaters. Some of its kids entrees include an egg-white frittata and the iconic Mickey shaped waffles. All kid entrees are served with two sides of their choice.

Important note: Having breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table will surely create wonderful memories as well as fuel you for the day. However, currently character dining is not available.

You could have once enjoyed breakfast while having visits from Cinderella herself, as well as some of her fellow princesses. However, post covid the princesses have been “taking a break” and are no longer a part of this dining experience. Hopefully, this change is just temporary and eventually Cinderella and her friends will return for table side meet and greets.

Fortunately, many other Disney blogs have reported that there is still an opportunity to meet with Cinderella when you first enter the royal banquet room. But this is not advertised on the Walt Disney World website.

Beef Tenderloin and Egg

One of its heartier options, this juicy tenderloin is served with a potato and cheese frittata and will surely fill you up for a big day.

Royal Avocado Toast

Being that avocado toast is one of the trendiest breakfasts out there, there was no way the mouse wasn’t going to put his spin on things. This plant-based option is served on multigrain toast and includes plant-based eggs, cheese, avocado, radish, and jalapenos.

Caramel Apple-stuffed French Toast

For the sweet tooth in the family this decadent french toast is stuffed with sweet cream cheese and spiced apples drizzled with caramel sauce and served with bacon.

Canella Bellini Sparkling Peach Cocktail

One of the main benefits to choosing table service at Magic Kingdom are the adult beverage options. Magic Kingdom is the only park that does not serve alcohol at its quick service stations.

Overall

Whether you choose to eat on the go or enjoy a sit-down meal, there are breakfast options for everyone at Magic Kingdom. And understanding all of the various Magic Kingdom breakfast options ahead of time can help ensure that your family enjoys the meal of a lifetime.
