Walt Disney World is well-known for their extraordinary culinary achievements. There are many different types of restaurants from character dining to quick eats. You can enjoy African, Asian, American, Italian, and French cuisines to name a few.

Disney World has many choices that are perfect for a romantic night out. To help you choose some fantastic restaurants, I’ve compiled a list that adults will enjoy!

California Grill

The California Grill is one of Walt Disney World’s most popular and romantic spots. At the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you’ll find California Grill which overlooks Magic Kingdom! California Grill serves American style dishes with fun sushi options! Expect to pay between $35 and $59 per adult at this restaurant.

Check the fireworks showtimes at Magic Kingdom the day you’ll be dining and schedule your reservation around then! Arrive a few minutes early and ask for a fireworks view table to view the fireworks as you dine! If you are not dining during the fireworks, keep your receipt and head back the resort at showtime. Show the hostess your receipt and they’ll escort you to the viewing platform!

When deciding what to try at California Grill, there is not a shortage of delicious options! If you are dining at brunch, there are self-serve options as well as entrees to choose from! The shrimp tempura is drizzled with orange and mango, and it is superb! They also have incredible chicken and waffles as well as lemon ricotta pancakes.

They also have plenty of beautiful incredible drinks to try! The Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini is particularly special featuring three olives blueberry vodka, pomegranate and lemon juices, as well as fresh blueberries! This is one of Disney’s most romantic locations, perfect for a special event or celebration.

Be Our Guest

If you are a truly Disney obsessed, Be Our Guest is a great spot to sit down for a decadent meal. Inside the Beast’s castle at Magic Kingdom, you will dine in his great ballroom, the West wing, or smaller dining room with a beautiful statue of Belle and the Beast dancing together.

Meet the Beast in the library for a picture after your meal! The environment here is so elegant and romantic. Each dining room is beautiful in its own way, so you won’t be disappointed no matter where you are seated!

For breakfast and lunch, Be Our Guest is a quick service restaurant with tons of delicious items to choose from. The Feast A La Gaston is one of my personal favorites as it is a classic American breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, fresh fruit, and pastries.

The Croque Madame is also delicious and decadent. The only drawback to dining here for breakfast are the prices. Be Our Guest is fairly expensive, and I just don’t feel like I get my money’s worth during breakfast.

However, I can’t resist this spot each time I visit, so I choose to dine at night while I’m there! If you are there for lunch, you must try the French Onion Soup as it is divine! Lunch is much cheaper than breakfast and they have a few delicious options. The Croque Monsieur and French Dip Sandwich are both delicious.

If you do decide to reserve a spot at Be Our Guest for dinner, you will enjoy a beautiful prix-fixe menu. You have many appetizers to choose from, my favorites being the French Onion Soup and Maine Lobster Bisque. The entrees are all especially yummy, but I typically go for the Spice-Dusted Lamb Chops or Saffron-infused Seafood Bouillabaisse.

Dessert is a beautiful trio served with an Almond Macaron, Dark Chocolate Truffle, and White Chocolate “Chip” Cup which is a white chocolate mold in the shape of “Chip” from Beauty and the Beast filled with “The Grey Stuff.” It is served on a beautiful, edible paper depicting the Enchanted Rose!

Tiffins

If you’re in the mood for something unique at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, head on over to Tiffins for a very special meal. Inspired by African, Asian, and Latin flavors, this restaurant is a creative blend of flavors sure to excite any foodie! Expect to spend between $35 and $59 per adult here. The menu here is the same for both Lunch and Dinner, so you won’t miss out no matter when you dine.

The Avocado and Tomato Salad is a great way to start here, but the Charred Octopus is also delicious. For your main course, try out the Surf and Turf which includes Grilled Wagyu Beef, Lobster Tail, Potatoes, and more! The Braised Lamb Shank is beautiful and tender as well. The Lobster Mac and Cheese is a delicious add-on that I can’t skip each time I’m there.

For dessert, try out the Tiffins Trio or Whipped Cheesecake. They are both decadent and delicious! I would definitely recommend this spot if you are interested in trying something different and unique that you won’t find anywhere else!

The Boathouse

The Boathouse Restaurant is another very unique place to dine on the waters of Orlando, Florida. Located in Disney Springs, you will board the boat before dining. Enjoy classic American steakhouse/seafood meals for a great price. Each adult meal will cost between $15 and $35 here, and there is no shortage of yummy eats.

If you’re there for lunch or dinner the menu is the same, so start off with something special from the raw bar like oysters or jumbo lump crab with avocado!

For your entrée, try out the Grilled Wild Mahi Mahi Tacos or Maine Lobster and Pasta Skillet. They also have a fantastic variety of steaks, salads, and sandwiches to choose from. For dessert, taste test the S’mores Baked Alaska for a unique dish big enough to share. If you’re in the mood for something classic, Root Beer Float is also delightful.

The Edison

As I mentioned earlier, there is not at all a shortage of unique places for adults to dine at Disney. Also located at Disney Springs, The Edison is a fun spot to sit down for a bite. Inspired by the age of invention, this dive features specialty items you just won’t find anywhere else. You’ll spend between $15 and $35 feeding each adult in your party at this fun American eatery.

Try starting with the Electri-fries featuring hand-cut potatoes, the Edison special sauce, bacon, blue cheese, and green onions. If you want to stick to their classics, order The Edison Burger for your entrée.

This $19 stack is filled with a short-rib, sirloin, and brisket blend, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, house-made pickles, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and special sauce! For an ingenious dessert, try out the perfectly “instagrammable” lollipop tree made of cheesecake pops with bubblegum whipped cream!

Hollywood & Vine

If you’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the day, head over to Hollywood and Vine for a great character meal for adults. Breakfast is almost filled with Disney Junior characters, so I would recommend making a lunch or dinner reservation. If you really want to meet Minnie and friends, you may have to double check online or by calling Disney’s customer service to see if the crew will be there!

Serving American cuisine, Hollywood & Vine will run you between $35 and $59 per adult. Served buffet-style enjoy baked breads, pastas, seasonal fish and meats, tons of veggies, and soft-serve ice cream. It’s a great spot to sit and down while touring Hollywood Studios, and it’s even better if you can snag a reservation while Minnie will be there with all of her friends!

The Coral Reef

Heading over to Epcot, you can dive under the sea for a romantic dinner while viewing the tropical fish of the Coral Reef’s Aquarium. In stadium style seating, you’ll sit down to an incredible seafood menu while watching an entire wall of marine life go by right in front of your eyes! The Coral Reef is an amazing experience for adults, and their drinks menu really tops it off! You’ll spend between $15 and $35 per adult meal here.

Lunch and dinner here are identical so maybe try the Lobster Bisque or Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli as your starter. For your main course, the Whole Lobster is phenomenal as well as the Shrimp and Grits.

Their Lobster Macaroni and Cheese is a must-have add-on for my meals here, however the Shrimp Skewer and Crab Oscar are also delicious. For dessert, the Chocolate Wave is their signature dish which is a warm chocolate cake covered in chocolate curls and raspberry gelato. If you’re in the mood for a fun drink, try out the Piña CoLAVA, Coral ‘Rita, or Magical Star Cocktail.

Via Napoli

Remaining in Epcot, head over to the Italy pavilion of the World Showcase for some of the best Italian food you can find! Via Napoli is known for their incredible wood-fire cooked pizzas and tender, delectable pastas. You’ll spend between $15 and $35 at this restaurant.

The menu here is absolutely massive, so every member of your party is sure to find something they’ll love. The Mozzarella Caprese and Prosciutto e Melone are both incredible antipasti’s. They also have plenty of soups and salads to choose from. If you are a pasta lover like me, the Lasagne Napoletana is delightful.

I also love the Linguine di Mare. If you’d rather have a traditional Italian entree including Bistecca and Pollo Parmigiana. Now, if you’re at Via Napoli, there are tons of delicious pizzas to choose from. Often times, my family and I will order a small pizza to share just so we can have a taste if everyone is ordering other dishes.

There are also great desserts here including many types of gelato, Tiramisu, and Cannolis! I believe Via Napoli is a must for those who love Italian food. It can be a fantastic and romantic spot for Lunch or Dinner, and they have plenty of alcoholic beverages and stunning wine options to choose from!

La Cellier Steakhouse

Continuing down World Showcase, head to the Canada pavilion to enjoy delicious Canadian cuisine, steakhouse style! Expect to spend between $35 and $59 at La Cellier as you enjoy an upscale dining experience. They are only open for Lunch and Dinner, and each menu is the same! Ask your cast member about any seasonal specialties if you’d like to try something you won’t find regularly!

They have a variety of delicious starters including Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup and Prime Beef Tartare. For your entrée, there are many dishes to choose from with bold flavors. My personal favorites are the La Cellier Filet Mignon and Chateaubriand for Two.

These are both beautiful dishes and the Chateaubriand is perfect for a romantic occasion! There are many sides here including Lobster Mac and Cheese and Mashed Potatoes.

They also have Poutine and many desserts! The Maple Crème Brulee and Strawberry Cheesecake are both delicious, so be sure to try one of those! If you’d like to enjoy a drink, they have beer, cocktails, and wine for their guests!
