Epcot is a Disney foodie’s paradise, and the park offers some of the most unique dining options in all of Walt Disney World. While enjoying a meal at a table service restaurant can be a Disney vacation highlight, you can find delicious and satisfying food choices at the many quick service restaurants, as well. It’s hard to choose favorites, of course, but here are a few suggestions for some of the best quick service at Epcot meals or snacks!

Best Quick Service at Epcot for Breakfast

In my eyes, one of the best quick services at Epcot for those seeking breakfast is Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie.  However, If you’re seeking one of the best quick services at Epcot for lunch or dinner, you’ll love the Mexican-heavy menu of La Cantina de San Angel.

But there’s more options that just those two, so let’s dive into what else Epcot has to offer!

Connections Cafe

The Connections Cafe is one of the newer quick service restaurants at Epcot. It opened in 2022, in the World Celebration area at Epcot. This spacious cafe features Starbucks coffee and a small variety of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. They also feature a rotating selection of seasonal specialties on their menu.

Connections Cafe opens at 9:00 AM and is one of only a few places selling food in Epcot that early in the day. It is connected to The Connections Eatery, which opens at 11 AM. The seating is plentiful, and the building is brightly lit and comfortable. A really nice feature is that there are plenty of electric outlets and charging stations throughout the cafe, so you can charge your phone while enjoying a coffee break.

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is one of the best quick service restaurants in Disney World.  And oddly enough, it’s one of just a few restaurants in the World Showcase section of Epcot that opens before 11:00 AM. They open at 9:00 AM, and enjoying a pastry and coffee before the large crowds is a great way to start the day.

Located in the France area of World Showcase, Les Halles’ menu features an assortment of sandwiches, pastries, and French specialty foods. It’s a great choice for a quick meal any time of the day.

For breakfast, you can’t go wrong with an individual Quiche Lorraine, yogurt and fruit parfait, or a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. If you prefer more sweet offerings in the morning, try the chocolate croissant or some macarons. In addition to several options for coffee and tea, you can also indulge in a mimosa or frose’. For the little ones, they offer orange juice, chocolate milk, hot chocolate as well as soft drinks.

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

If coffee and a sweet pastry is your preferred breakfast choice, treat yourself at Kringle Bakery Og Kafe in the Norway section of World Showcase.  Their School Bread is a popular custard-filled treat, but you can also indulge in a delicious piece of eplekake (apple cake with caramel drizzle), or a Mickey cinnamon roll.

Kringla Bakeri serves Joffrey’s coffee, along with espresso and cappuccino. If you like sweet coffee drinks, the Kristoff Kafe is something you should definitely try! It’s a frozen coffee with a coffee-chocolate sauce that is garnished with coffee-chocolate sprinkles. They even have adult coffee options, such as the Viking Coffee. Viking Coffee is Bailey’s Irish Cream liqueur and Kamora coffee liqueur; a tasty caffeinated indulgence!

Best Quick Service at Epcot for Lunch or Dinner

It’s hard to narrow down choices for the best quick service at Epcot for lunch or dinner. There are just too many to choose from, and most are good choices. The locations I’ve chosen to list here all serve entrees that are hearty enough for a satisfying meal, at a reasonable price (especially compared to the prices of table service restaurants).

Most quick service restaurants have a children’s menu, so the little ones in your family will be able to choose something they like. Allergy-friendly and plant-based options are also available at many of these places.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Yorkshire County Fish Shop” by HarshLight licensed under CC BY 2.0

The only entree on the Yorkshire County Fish Shop’s menu is fish and chips, but they’re fish and chips done right! The fish and chips are always fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. It’s obviously a deep-fried meal, but in my experience, the food has always been crispy and not overly greasy. You can wash it down with a soft drink, tea, or a draught UK beer.

This walk-up shop is very popular, so the line tends to get a little long at the usual lunch and dinner times. There is some lakeside seating next to the shop, but it gets filled up pretty quickly. If there was one thing this shop could improve, I would have to say it needs more seating, especially for families with small children.

Sunshine Seasons

Located in the World Nature section of Epcot, Sunshine Seasons serves a variety of wood-grilled entrees, sandwiches, salads, and plant-based cuisine. The portions here are generous and this restaurant is a great choice if you’re trying to find healthier meal options. The menu also notably has a good number of “allergy-friendly” entrees.

Sunshine Seasons is a nice place to enjoy good food in a location that seems distanced from the park crowds. The spacious dining room with high ceilings has ample seating and cheerful decor. It’s a good stop to have a relaxing, healthy meal during your Epcot visit.

La Cantina de San Angel

If you’re looking to add some Mexican flavor to your Epcot quick service dining, you really can’t go wrong with La Cantina de San Angel. In fact, if you’re craving tacos, nachos, or a refreshing margarita, you need to visit La Cantina de San Angel.

Located in the Mexico section of World Showcase, it’s the place you want to be! The entrees from this quick service spot are hearty enough for a meal and are reasonably priced. If you can’t decide which taco you want to try, the Taco Trio entree is an excellent choice. It includes one shredded beef taco, one chicken taco, and one shrimp taco, all made with fresh corn tortillas and served with a side of rice and of black beans.

If you want something sweet to end the meal, try the churros with chocolate sauce. They’re sweet and flavorful, but somehow also seem light and not overly filling.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

The Regal Eagle Smokehouse is another newer quick service restaurant in Epcot. The menu is a celebration of all things barbecue and highlights different entrees of American regional barbecue tradition. Whether you crave Memphis ribs, a Texas brisket sandwich, or Kansas City smoked chicken, there is bound to be something on the menu to please just about any barbecue lover.

All entrees are generously portioned, reasonably price, and include your choice of one of several traditional sides. There is even a plant-based barbecue jackfruit burger that is quite popular! They also feature four different types of American barbecue sauce for any of the entrees.

In addition to soft drinks, The Regal Eagle serves a selection of American craft beers and wines to accompany the meals.

Best Quick Service at Epcot for Sweet Treats

You’ve worked hard for your Disney World vacation, so go ahead and indulge in a sweet treat once in a while! Epcot has some amazing desserts, and you deserve to have a little sweetness in your life. There’s a lot of walking involved in a Disney vacation, so you’ll probably burn off any extra calories, anyway.

Kabuki Cafe

The Kabuki Cafe, located in the Japan section of World Showcase, is a great spot for a snack, but in heat of a Florida Summer few things are as refreshing as a Kakigori.

Kakigori is shaved ice with flavored syrup, similar to an extra-large snow cone. At Kabuki Cafe, it can be ordered with sweetened condensed milk for an added layer of sweetness. The kakigori is available in a variety of delicious fruity flavors, or you can get a Rainbow combination of all the flavors. It’s a simple treat, but it’s perfect on a hot day when you want something sweet but not too heavy.

Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris

Crepes A Emporter is located in the France section of the World Showcase, near Ratatouille: The Adventure. Their menu includes both savory crepes (galettes) as well as sweet crepes. Each crepe is made fresh to order, and the sweet varieties feature the traditional butter and sugar (try it, it’s surprisingly flavorful), chocolate hazelnut spread, or berries. You can even have them with a scoop of ice cream, for a little extra decadence!

Since each crepe is made fresh upon order, the line here can get long at popular meal times. Even if the line looks really long, it moves fairly quickly. These simple but delicious crepes are worth waiting a few minutes for!

Gelateria Toscana

Some of the most deliciously decadent desserts in Epcot can be found at Gelateria Toscana, in the Italy section. In addition to a selection of creamy gelati and fruity sorbet (served in a cone or a cup), you can also get specialty creations such as a Naufrago (root beer float with vanilla gelato), or an Affogato (espresso poured over gelato, served with amaretto cookies).

If a pastry is more of what you crave, don’t pass up their cannoli or tiramisu! Both of these richly flavored treats are worth the extra calories.

L’Artisan des Glaces

This is a quick service restaurant in the France section, specializing in artisan ice cream and sorbets. The flavors at L’Artisan des Glaces extend beyond the “usual” flavors you might find at an ice cream parlor, and include such tasty options as Cinnamon Caramel Apple ice cream, and Pina Colada sorbet. But that isn’t all!

They also serve specialty desserts such as a macaron ice cream sandwich, or a Croque Glacé, which is ice cream & sauce pressed between homemade brioche slices. It’s the meltiest, most scrumptious ice cream sandwich you can imagine!
